Expressive Language Intervention
Children may present with delays in communication for a variety of reasons, but we will work to improve their skills. Expressive vocabulary, building longer and longer utterances, social language exchanges, and if needed intervention to prepare for a speech generating device (SGD). Ms Kim has experience from birth through teen years in helping children find their "voice".
Speech Sound Skills
Is your child difficult to understand? Is their quality of voice not what is expected? Does your child stutter? Have they received a diagnosis of Childhood Apraxia of Speech? Therapy to improve overall intelligibility and quality is available!
Autism
Ms Kim has worked with children with Autism for over 20 years. Autism is a spectrum and the language difficulties associated with Autism range from mild to nonverbal. Ms Kim can help your child understand how functional their language can be.
Feeding
Ms Kim has worked with a variety of children with a range of feeding delays/difficulties. Contact Ms Kim to see if she is a good fit for your child's feeding needs.
